I have an IQ of 153 and an SAT score of 1310 (Mensa required only 1250 at the time I took the test), so I qualify. However, I have no desire to join. To paraphrase Ann Robinson (former host of The Weakest Link), why should I pay them money just so they can tell me I'm smart?

I was recruited by MENSA, took the test, and showed an IQ of 178. But I turned them down, because they seem to be way too arrogant and elitist. Since I am better than them, I would feel too superior. :P
