My Rottweiler mix's name is Madison, which is the name she came with when I adopted her. Liked it and saw no reason to change it.

My chow mix is a different story. His name was originally Clifford (as in 'the big red dog'). But whenever I hear that name, though, I think of Clifford Olsen (Canadian serial killer who targeted young boys). So I ended up renaming him Frankie (he didn't respond to Clifford anyway). My grandmother had had a spaniel- Border Collie mix named Frankie and I fell in love with the name (plus that Frankie was a girl, so the unisex aspect just made it cooler in my opinion).

I have a basenji who was a rescue dog, her name is Chance.
I have a siamese cross cat who was a feral kitten, her name is Loki.
I have a columbian red tail boa, her name is Shappa.
I have a ball python, her name is Rocket.
Finally, I have a corn snake, her name is Jellybean.
