I had a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal

Last night I dreamt I was a pipe from the mario games, with a piranha plant in it. over times the piranha plant would turn into a spiney like the lakitus throw at ya while the pipe gradually turned into my throat. Lets just say I woke up coughing to hell, and the dream kept repeating itself. So yeah, I feel even worse today, minus the complete lack of chest congestion.

this one basically has me stumped. none of my dream books had any similar dream imagery for me to study. :?
p.s., get yourself another piano any way you can! if you have the god-given talent to make music with one, it cries out for creative expression NOW!! !

Yes Sir AuntBlabby! :D

To see eyes in your dream may also be a pun on "I" or the self. To dream that you have something in your eye, represents obstacles in your path. Alternatively, it may represent your critical view and how you tend to see faults in others. To dream of eye injury, suggests your refusal to see the truth about something. You may be expressing feelings of hurt, pain or sympathy.

So, if the fish is simultaneously symbolic of [1] my unconscious telling me to beware of someone who [2] is the "cold fish" I know...

and then my brother's eye is "I" as in me then that's clearly creepy. It's what intuitively resonates with me, though.

in addition, the "brother" in your dream might just be a projection of yourself.

I've been thinking about it, and although I know it's a theory in dream interpretation that all characters in dreams are a representation of some aspect of yourself, I still can't come up with what it is my brother represents.

To dream that you are being attacked by someone, indicates your character is being questioned. You feel the need to defend yourself. You are feeling stressed, vulnerable and helpless. You may also be facing with difficult changes in your waking life. Dreaming of an attack provides a way for you to confront these situations that you may be avoiding in real life. To dream that you are being attacked by an animal, is a warning to be careful with those around you. Take notice of who you know in your waking that shares and exhibits the same qualities of the animal that attacked you in your dream.

This is great! Everything you wrote is true of what's going on in my life.

To see violence in your dream, indicates unexpressed anger or rage. The dream may also reflect repressed memories of child abuse. You may be feeling helpless or vulnerable in some area of your life. Violence toward others in your dream, suggests that you may be fighting or struggling against aspects of your own Self.

I think the last line has a lot of value in it. I have to mull this over.

a beautiful dream indeed. we all must come together and make it happen.

anyways, i had a whopper of a weird dream the other night, and the first half was erased from my waking memory completely, other than that i remember there was a first half. the 2nd half was like a scene from the old 60s cold war TV comedy show "get smart" in which maxwell smart for some reason was stuck in the floor face up, in his trenchcoat now blackened from grime and mildew. in the lavatory of some place unknown to me. yes, another lavatory dream. he was close to the urinals and somehow his face was getting splashed with nasty water, urine, mud, etc. i was using the facilities and tried not to pee on his face. he made a funny sound effect that made me roll on the floor laughing. somehow i didn't get dirty.
the rest of the floor had a natural trough with a drain in the middle, so for some reason i peed on the floor away from where maxwell smart was stuck, with a powerful garden-hose stream of urine, trying to clear the floor of some of its crud, with some success. then suddenly i was in a bedroom with agent 99 who was wearing a red matte mac over a blue maxi and pumps, who confronted me agressively and threatened to do me bodily harm but in that nice proper mellow voice of hers, [saying "please don't make me do bodily harm to you, won't you help me get maxwell out of that awful place, please?"] if i didn't figure out a way to get maxwell smart unstuck from the floor of that lavatory.

Auntblabby - I want a dream with Maxwell Smart and Agent 99! 8) :P Seriously though, here's my quick take on it for what it's worth - You are a "smart" man and you're getting "pissed on" or people are "taking the piss" with you.

Dreaming of toilets and bathrooms may suggest your desire/need to cleanse (rid the waste/crap) yourself emotionally of negative sexual attitudes or those of others.

I had a very weird and cool dream the other night...where I was driving a Light Car Company Rocket, which is a rare 1 seater sports car with no roof. I was wearing WWI pilot style goggles and a leather hat, and my favorite jacket from real life, my green and brown light wool jacket. So pretty much my favorite outfit. It was the middle of the night and raining lightly, and I drove through a big city and then through pine forests. It was the best dream I have had in so long, and I was so mad when I woke up and it was just a dream, now I have to wait until I can own a Rocket in real life.

In real life I had a falling out with my brother's girlfriend a few weeks ago. A few days later I dreamt that she was on a bus alongside an online friend of mine. She started arguing with my friend; that's all I can remember of it.

I'm no psychologist, but I can interpret that dream as meaning you view her as enemy of people you care about...any interpretations of my dream?

I had a bizarre nightmare that included, among a variety of other things, a preview for a movie directed by Tim Burton about an artistic, homicidal, child circus clown named Guffy. It wasn't Tim Burton's usual type of movie though - instead of being endearingly gothic, it was downright scary. I woke up feeling extremely uneasy and since it was dark (I sleep during the day) I ran to turn on the lights as fast as I could. I was never afraid of clowns before, but now I'm not so sure.

somehow i am never really aware of humor in my dreams, so this one was a rare exception. they say humor is carried mainly in the frontal lobes, so that is a partial explanation why most of us don't dream funny dreams in which we are aware of the humor while we are dreaming.

thank you for your input. i appreciate people who put me in the "smart" category, as that is a very rare happening on the right planet. i can use all the wisdom i can get. i have a long history of recurring lavatory dreams, usually on the order of being locked inside one where all the toilets are flooding sewage that i am drowning in, or i am locked in one where there are legions of nasty insects trying to eat me alive. maybe it all is trying to teach me to get beyond "better pissed-off than pissed-on. but that is a tough lesson and a long row to hoe.

I had a funny /weird dream once
I dreamt about spongebob squarepants and his pink friend went down to the "one stop party shop" in town to grab some beer. When he came out, he noticed that his bubble machine/car was stolen. So him and the pink dude walk all over town cursing to the wind and they wandered back to cartoon land and the squirl in a helmet chick was wearing the bubble top on top of her staff for her prom. Mind you, I was 27 when I had this dream.
