Salmon Wellington with mashed potato and garden peas.

Now either I'm being a complete doofus with this camera or this camera is not as good as the other one. Doubt it, perhaps I'm just not as adept with it.

I don't know when I'm going to get time to be online again (probably tomorrow) but here's the photo of a meal I had yesterday:

Image

Steamed haddock and smoked salmon fish cakes with salad and tartare sauce at a nice little café above a supermarket.

Some more? This was tonight's tea so I took a photo of it. Bear in mind that a lot of meals I've photographed before so I don't put them on Flickr for the reason that they're already there.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the out-of-focus nature of this picture. It really isn't that sharp.

Have you noticed that we eat a lot of potatoes in our house Sylkat?

If you really want to knock yourself out, Sylkat, here's my food and non-alcoholic drinks set (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lancashire/sets/72157600517160472/). There must be a good 350+ photos of food I've eaten/taken photos of there, though I must emphasise that many of the earlier entries are not well-shot at all. Feel free to browse around.

Had this last night:

Image

That gammon was very tough. It took a lot of work to cut through it even with a steak knife. Not good.

It still looks scrumptious in the picture though. :)

Here's what I'm eating tonight:

Image

(Click image for full sized photo).

The pasta is regular wheat rigatoni, with a bit of Earth Balance added. With the pasta is stir-fried-then-steamed carrot, celery, broccoli including stalks, cauliflower, green beans, with black pepper, salt, olive oil, parsley flakes, cumin and soya sauce.

Tastes great!

What sort of camera are you using, Raven_Morris? It looks like it might be a DSLR to me with the blurred background.

Two photos of different takeaway pizzas from last night...

We ordered a chicken, sweetcorn and mushroom pizza (£6)...

Image

...and a cheesy garlic bread (£3)...

Image

...and here was tonight's tea. Chicken stuffed with boursin and wrapped in proscuitto with oven chips and salad:
