I think we should all have a right to vote on the actual decisions being made rather than the idiots who will make the decisions on our behalf.
Yes I agree, that would be much more preferable, wouldn't it?
Although I would worry about those who could not understand such decisions in their entirety or take into consideration the long term effects of such things, but then again we have plenty of politicians who do the same.
I'm not sure if my trust in the general population extends quite that far, but neither does my trust in politicians extend that far.
Maybe we should get rid of all power structures starting with the letter "P". (or maybe just the prime minister)
I think if we voted on decisions themselves but it wasn't compulsory, the people that didn't understand the issue or couldn't care less wouldn't vote anyway...ahhh, we can dream
