a buck's a buck, as they say Does it have the stupid push-button parking brake like the current Civic, or does it have a proper handbrake?

has el stooooopido push-button brake that took an act of congress to get to release. need a PhD to drive that thing. but it rode surprisingly well on our local rough and bumpy roads. and very quiet, as well. has a CVT so no shifting noise, the engine was mostly silent accept when accelerating, the CVT sapped some power compared to the earlier 5-speed version. wish I had $30k [how much the base lx costs these days]. just a few years ago they started out at $22k. no more.

do you also prefer hard riding sports cars as well, or can you go for a smooth cushmobile?

Fairly firm, but too firm causes a reduction in traction. My dad's Datsun is fine to ride in but is set up firmer than it needs to be.
