what does this meaaaan

It means that you've uncovered Henbane's nightly moonlighting as a psychotic dream haunting spectre gig.

Is your relationship in danger, or are you just afeared that it might be?

what relationship?

there's this recurring dream about a blue A-frame house with aerospace-technology windows out in the woods in a clearing, and i drive up to it [incongruously] on a familiar hometown street which suddenly disappears and this clearing shows up with the blue A-frame house on it. i get out of the car and meet my older brother and together we knock on the door and the guy lets us in and shows us around the house but he pays attention mainly to my older brother, shooting me a "you're a geek!" look every now and then. then i awaken.

^ Dill pickles and hot chocolate work too. I dreamed I was an artist living on an olde sailing ship last night with aliens (the UFO type). I believe it had something to do with the book I'm still reading.

Well - arent you a "high heeled boy" so to speak? A deviant in more ways than one- which is why you were bullied all your life? Kinda so obvious that it isnt obvious. Ofcourse Ive never really listended to the song carefully enough to know what the lyrics are actually about.

you could be right. but as far as the low spark of high-heeled boys is concerned, it was a reference by actor michael j. pollard [in an inscription in his pal musician jim capaldi's book] to the streetsmart zeitgeist of his generation of boomers, who were hip and onto a generational wave of what they perceived to be new ways of thinking and feeling and being. as jim capaldi explained it later-

"For me, it summed him up. He had this tremendous rebel attitude. He walked around in his cowboy boots, his leather jacket. At the time he was a heavy little dude. It seemed to sum up all the people of that generation who were just rebels. [...]
The 'Low Spark', for me, was the spirit, high-spirited. You know, standing on a street corner. The low rider. The 'Low Spark' meaning
that strong undercurrent at the street level."

IOW it was a low spark because it stuck to their generation and didn't affect other generations like what OWS is doing now, for example. i hope that made sense.

I volunteer producing a public access radio show at a small public access station. The guy who has the time slot after me announced he was going on vacation somehere. That night I dreamt that he and his family and I were planning a group vaction trip together but hadnt decided on a destination.

gee, that is fascinating- how does one produce a radio program? just curious. that is quite a dream you had. i couldn't begin to parse it.

Ahh..
The song represents rebellion and the wave of change.
you're trying to keep the spark going. The spark of youth, or of rebellion. Something like that.
Or maybe its saying that this mundane present you're living now is the exciting future promised by the song when you first heard back in the day ( Where are the flying cars that were spose to be driving that they predicted in the Jetsons?)

My dream was quite entertaining.
I do see why I dreamt it.
The Arab spring is in the news and Im conflicted career and other issues and it makes sense why that kind of imagery would come together.

Right here in the suburbs of Washington there is a county that has a public access radio and TV station that goes through the county's cable TV system, and over the internet. If you take courses and pay some modest fees and get on waiting list you can get a time slot and do a radio show ( or do TV which I have not gotten involved with).

You can do your own format-some do talk- some spin records.

I do a Dr. Demento type show - crazy comedy, and demented music, and musical oddities and curiosities.

You can tune in at www.fcac.org/webr

I come on five pm EST on Sundays.

The guy after me does pop and rock from Britain ( hes a local american but he does british stuff old and new).

My show is called "the LIghter Side", his is called "England Swings".

i had a dream last night that my best friend visited me and we were playing Duck Hunt on the NES... although the weird part is that my friend was all of a sudden an african american person... it was like he was a reverse Michael Jackson... also it was weird that we were playing such an old video game

very interesting, i bookmarked it so i can hear your program of novelties. i have recorded [off and on] selections from decades of dr. demento and a local program called "music with moscowitz" which was a moderately countryfried version of dr. d. i have some stuff that almost never gets played nowadays. my favorite is by a fella named butterball brown, called "it's drunk out tonight" which is too politically incorrect to air anywhere. there is another one by a texan named bill smallwood, called "rocky mountain oysters" which is sung from the perspective of the gonad donor, it is a scream. if you wish, i can mail you a CD of some of it, so you can air some of it. i also am a semi-pro audio restoration tech, i've done some quasi-forensic work, extracting voices buried under noise, in addition to more mundane restoration of 78 rpm materials.
