the golden red sunsets slowly fading into dusky oblivion, and the rarified night air at my elevated sunset lookout high upon a ridge overlooking hammersley inlet. the sounds of the night. the gentle lukewarm coolness. the full moon basking everything in a silvery almost otherworldly glow. the worries of the day receding into the past and the promise of sleepy dreamland to follow upon repose.

Q- what do you like about fall?

The time before I hit the ground. Wait, that's not right. Um, leaves on the floor at the base of trees?

The colors of the falling leaves and the sounds they make under my feet when I take a walk in a park. The smell of mushrooms in the forest. The sound of rain. And once in a while the sun comes out and shines on the golden leaves making everything look so beautiful.

What is your favorite season and why?

fall, of course :bounce:
it has my favorite month in it, december.
it is cool and has red falling leaves all over the place, followed by all the nasty insects going into hibernation or whatever.

Spring. Green colors, sunshine and blooming gardens.

Sunshine, rain or snow?

2nd choice for me would be winter, because i love the soft fluffing sound of snow as each flake makes landfall. plus snow smells so nice and clean and pure. and nothing is as pure white as the driven snow. so pretty. and at night when the clouds reflect the city lights from afar, the snow just glows and one can navigate the nighttime environs as though it were illuminated by full moonlight. and on the rare occasions when snow is on the ground during a clear-sky full moon, that is heavenly.

Q- what is your least favorite season, and why?

I like all the seasons but late autumn is the most depressing when all the colorful leaves are gone and there's only the rain and the cold wind.

EDIT: forgot the question. Same question.

Probably Autumn because of some bad associations although it can also be beautiful. :chin:

I want to turn the lights out before dropping off. Too comfortable to ruin the slide into unconsciousness.
