Feh... I scattered CaCl2 pellets last night and it did less than nothing, AFAICS, so today I am going to try a 10% NaCl / 90% CaCl2 brine. I hate to, hate to, hate to, I have ground cover growing next to my walkway, but not slipping on ice takes priority at the moment.

Breakfast, then brine. Yippee.

^^ Hi Kazan, wasn't ignoring you, didn't see this. Yeah, calcium chloride. I waited til the sun came out and scattered more, and it eventually got the idea. I was breaking floes off this huge sheet of ice that covered my walkway, drive and patio, off and on all day. Car was encased in it.

Problem is, entrance and all are on the north side of the house, and don't get much sun this time of year. So I finally get the car out, run some errands, and coming back I see that virtually every other home in my neighborhood had perfectly clear walks and drives.

This was not because I'm lazy - we had a 3.75 cm thick ice sheet, all of us. It's because my home casts a shadow exactly where I don't need one, and everyone else has better sun exposure. Every tree in everyone's yard is still encased in ice. But the tarmac got warm enough to clear up, where people get sun.

Just one of those things. I think, though, that I'm going to buy some snow fencing, and some uprights, and enclose the patio and its walkway next fall, for the season. That will hopefully prevent anyone from mistaking that for the main entrance, and slipping there if this happens again (two day ick storm, impossible to shovel in, frozen solid by the time things clear.)

I am so sore... wow.

Everything that has made me unhappy through the past couple of weeks and has built up to the point where I can't be happy right now. Nothing but memories of such belittlement that has been put on me. The expectations people want to see out of me and the change others want from me because of the way I am.

These things, as broad as I can make them are what has been cooped up inside my heart and my brain. Now it has finally taken its toll and I'm bouncing back and forth from complete dullness of expressing any emotion to sporadic meltdowns.

It got too silent here again. All I can hear is the electric hum of the devices in the house, ringing in my ears and that thrumming noise you'd normally feel/hear when a loud drag car speeds down the road or a large bird flaps it's wings next to your head.

-_- these sounds really bother me a lot. I'm going to have to turn music back on, even though I wanted to read. I can't do both if a song I really like comes on.

Twitter suggesting I 'follow' my team's deadly rivals. How insulting!

I found out a lot of members on crossdresserheaven.com were promoted to moderator status, and I wasn't, yet I log in every single night and listen and talk to everyone and I'm well liked there, but no.

So I deleted my account. I can do without the kick in the teeth.

My mother told me we going out for my birthday at 1:30. Then she calls me at 1:30 and says she and dad are looking at vehicles to buy and it'll be close to 2 when they're done. THEN I call them at 2 and they tell me it won't be until 2:30. THEN, I call them at 3, and they said it won't be until 3:30!!

:wall: :wall: :wall:

I was so looking forwards to today that I woke up at around 8 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. Now they've made me wait almost the entire day all because they're looking at stupid cars. As if there's anything wrong with the Jeep and the truck they use now. And if they finally do pick me up there will practically be no time to go to the new restaurant or shopping or even a cake. Why?

Finding a new vehicle can be time consuming. However, I understand that if there's nothing wrong with the Jeep, then perhaps it's a social status endeavor in which case that's their own undoing.

^ I feel your pain. I need to get a new vehicle, my 2002 Subaru is falling apart and seems to have a new issue every day, I don't think it is worth it to get it fixed, but all the used cars I'm looking at are really expensive.

Also, I haven't been able to eat anything in over 24 hours. I think it's the new medication.

1st off, there is no no for apologies as, I fully understand, 2nd, I know what think sheets of ice can be like to remove from one's pathways leading to automobile to home and around such. 3rd, you need to rest.

Lets see..
1, I've not driven in quite some time now ever since a bad car accident, though not due to physical damage rather psychological uneasiness about being in that environment again, if this makes sense?

2.Speaking of appetite, as this might sound absurd, rarely do I feel a sense of hunger, though I eat regardless.Don't ask me to explain this as, it's been part of my being ever since I was a little kid up to this point in my X-men mutant lifetime..
