^You can say that again. It is just mindblowing to me that everybody doesn't notice, or believe, this.

^ Yes, people do have the power to influence their lives.

The God they worship doesn't hate anyone yet they do. So much for being God-like.

I believe the way I do but I also live the way I want to, but by what Christians say I should. Well actually I'm going through different kinds of therapy in order to live more of the life I want but I'm helping myself at least.

Religion? Hmm... :chin: Do most people actually need a handbook/bible to exlain to them how normal, civilized, people are supposed to live/act? Do they need to be threatened to follow these rules with a "god" that will punish them, if they do not? What kind of life is that?

Again, is is nothing more than a business, especially these days.

most religious people do
a lot think God actually somehow wrote the bible
they refuse to believe history, science and logic (I have gone on christian forums and asked people-it was f*****g scary at these forums) I tell you what

To be that mislead, is sad, in a way. You know, I love my grandma(passed), but thinking back I can't believe how delusional she actually was. She really believed this crap. 8O Why is it so hard to see through it all?

I am not trying to convince anyone of my beliefs, but am trying to understand why many believe what they do. How do they trust something that is not trustworthy? Is that threat of judgement day enough? I don't get it.

I am the (really) only one in my family who publicly denounces christianity and most religion

Meh, I just believe by my own rules, many of which most religions would look down on. It's all just a matter of preference I guess. If I'm wrong, so what? What have I to lose? My beliefs don't alter how I live in any way. I'll do whatever the f**k I want and I don't care who likes it or doesn't. :)

Well this has been an interesting conversation but my meds have kicked in. Nice talking to you both. :)

I believe in "living and let living". But, sometimes I get distracted. I just can't understand why people choose to believe in things that are not proven science.

My Vampire obsesion is back, so I whent to see the movie Twilight the other day, the theatre was filled with mostly girls, and a bunch of them were realy chatting speaking a lot and bursting out in cheers when the male stars show up. Man can't I go to a movie and watch in peace. Also apart from that I have gone through the anime Karin and going through Rosario+Vampire, both in subs, and think I am enjoying them. I like these as they are not just monsters, actualy a bit cute. What if girls can have a bunch of thing of thinking of good looking male vampire, what is wrong with a hot female vampire. Hooray for romanceisation of vampires.

I probably could find out easily, but did the vikings follow Norse mythology, I thought they do, and I can see some insperation in vertain things, but I have no idea about either's time period or what ever.
