What sort of camera are you using, Raven_Morris? It looks like it might be a DSLR to me with the blurred background.

It is a Sony NEX-5 with the 18 to 55mm lens and latest firmware. It has a sensor that is a bit lower quality than a full DSLR sensor, but far above your average point-and-click model. I love the camera, despite its poor firmware and some annoying quirks.

I thought the bright reddish orange leaves outside would make a nice backdrop for the food. :)

Edit: I should have mentioned that the camera is considered as a mirrorless DSLR, so it's much smaller than a standard DSLR (the lens is heavier than the body). No mirror means no viewfinder, only a digital display. But the display is 640x480, so it's nice and clear for reviewing the image before and after taking it.

Pizza from the local pizza parlour. Known as a greca: red onions, olives, pepper and feta cheese. £6.50.

For a 12" pizza, too. The downside? You have to live up north. ;)

This is about the time when one of your insults would be applicable. ;)

Basically, I don't have a feckin' clue - I was using Google Translate.
