The boss guy at the other office has been getting off-his-face drunk at work every day for over 18 months now.
I know it sounds unfathomable that he's still employed at this point and that the partners won't do anything effective about it, but yes it's an outrageously unbelievable situation that is actually happening and will be for the forseeable future 8O 8O

The partners were apparently going to have an emergency meeting about him today after a particularly troubling day on Thursday, but as usual nothing happened.

Seriously tempted to report this s**t to Workcover. Probably the only way to light a fire under their arses.

Someone told me off over a misunderstanding at work and thought a particular task I was supposed to do was incomplete. The guy jumped to conclusions and came on to me condescendingly and was only midway through his lecture when our boss coincidentally came to give me feedback on that piece of work before that guy finally shut up and left. Not even an apology. Probably embarrassed as hell though.

I'm hoping that once my school is over that I'll find a decent job, not just something for someone whose intellectual skills are very low.

Stay out of it! If it's been going on that long, there's a reason. He might be somebody's brother-in-law or even worse. Really, lay low and say nothing. It could get you fired instead of him. I've seen it happen.

I took out my trash, my foot was soooo much in pain & it was numb, I took Advil & rested my feet. I changed my cat litter box, I was hoping one of my neighbors was home, nobody was home, I could not lift the trash bag,it was too heavy. I was out going door to door, I don’t have too neighbors, I shouldn’t been in sun, I had a bad anxiety attack & I was crying, cuz I had to do everything by myself,I felt all lone. I got acid reflux, it felt like fire in my throat.

No they're scared that if they get rid of him a huge bunch of clients will follow him out the door. He's nobody's brother in law, husband, mafia godfather or whatever. They're doing nothing effective in that they won't do anything to help the underlying reason for the drinking (won't send him to counseling or a psych or anything like that).

If the place were as corrupt and unjust as you imply I would have already voluntarily walked out the door. I work with decent people, they're just f*****g hopeless. I've been planning to leave for other reasons anyway.

Reading about the Hawaiian volcanic eruption, and that most everyone had to abandon their pets in order to get away. Now I am worried about said pets not surviving the eruption. :(

I was crossing the road on my way back to my apartment and this woman, who was maybe in her 50's, was going at hundred km an hour (okay, a slight exaggeration) and came close to running me over, and screamed like a banshee. I really thought she was going to hit me. She then tried to apologize, I guess, but I just kept screaming and calling her an idiot until she left. :x

When will people understand I have trouble judging the speed and distance of vehicles, and my general fear and dislike of vehicles? Now I'm afraid that when I go back out again the kids and teenagers will start trolling me.

Summer will be here soon, and there will be even more idiot drivers on the road. But at least the high school across the street will be closed and for two months I won't have to worry about all the traffic around it and teenagers who think they're invincible stepping right in front of my mom's moving car.

Those STUPID people! I wouldn’t abandon Piper, if someone force me to go without her, I will tell them f** you, I will take her. Pets depend on people, they can’t take care of themselves. This is so sad  I need my cat, she helped me sooooo much this last 4 years of her life.

^^^^^ I third that. Leave me, but rescue my pets if necessary. I wouldn't go without them.

Beyond that I'm unhappy that I fell down a long flight of stairs in a humiliating fashion and really, really hurt myself today :(
