My opinion about the United States is that the US is one of the better countries. America is the birthplace of Rock n Roll. If there was no America, there would be no Rock n Roll. If there wasn't an Elvis, there would be no Kinks.

The sky tonight is beautiful and clear, with so many stars to see. If only I had someone to lie outside and watch them with. Hopefully it will still be so clear next week so that I might enjoy the Geminids.

I long to see a night sky full of stars again. In Arizona you can see forever in the big night sky. Here on the East Coast I hardly see anything. It's so populated and there is more light and air pollution everywhere here.

You always take good pictures but you look serious in that photo/avatar.

I quite like this one, I actually accidently took this one and realsed how good that one was, so hence why took it.

Another thing I haven't done is put an up to date avatar of me and this has got to be the first up to date avatar I have ever put of myself as a matter of fact (well on here).

There was a time that I wasn't too patriotic. I was more proud of my British background, than I was of my Canadian citizenship. That changed after Canada won 35 Olympic medals in February, and after I found out that Pete Quaife lived in Canada for 25 years in July. I've decided to tape up that paper cut out, in the spot where I was planning to pin up a Union Jack, the day after Canada Day. I've resolved some sour grapes that were left over from the October of 1993, when my parents thought that I didn't understand politics enough to vote in the national federal election, in the fall of 93. I'm glad that I've resolved that issue, once and for all. I'm looking at the little Canadian flag, as I post this. :D

I didn't want to say it in another thread because it would have been out of place and in poor taste, but reading another post on here has made me wonder what it feels like to be slapped. I've never been slapped and should think I would like to experience it once (but just once).

Darn! I have insonmia again. I've been lying awake, thinking about technology and where we will be in another 15 to 20 years. I remember that black and green Apple IIc computer that my dad used to bring home from work. That was cool.
