Grasslands.

Why do people have to say "Same" when the topic turns to the second page and make myself have to check the page prior?

The Nightmare Before Christmas. I just loved it. Jack Skellington is one of my favorite characters.

Do you give to charity and why?

answer to my own question- polar express because i love anything having to do with the holiday season. answer to keira's question- i don't give much to charity because i am poor myself and just scrape by.

Q- choose one only-

*a bird in the hand
*2 in the bush.

please explain your choice.

A smart choice would be a bird in the hand but my life choices are usually chasing/waiting for those two in the bush. I guess settling for less just doesn't really work for me.

Same question.

Hmm. I never fully understood this proverb, then again I haven't taken the time to think about it before. A bird in the hand would be nice, because then I could see it and admire it, and know what it was about. Two birds in the bush would be good in that I'd have to work a little harder to find them, which makes the finding them more worthwhile. And even if I never found them, but knew that they were there, that might be reassuring because then I could imagine all sorts of wonderful things about them. But if I then worked to find them, found them, and realised that they were less than I'd dreamed of, then I'd probably be disappointed. Maybe it's better to have less of something and know it exactly for what it is, rather than to have more of something but with less access and understanding.
Or perhaps I'm interpreting this proverb in the wrong manner.

Do you have a favourite month, not including the one(s) which include your birthday and Christmas/Thanksgiving/other national holiday that you celebrate?
