I threw outmy back trying to clean my room earlier this week. I bent over to pick up some paper, and I heard something pop in my lower back. It hurts like a fiddler’s b***h when I stand up and try to walk. I’ve been doing hot and cold compresses since then.

And to make my life even more miserable, I get a summons to appear before the district magistrate in York, next month for a traffic ticket written because my state inspection had expired. One small problem: that car (an ‘02 VW Jetta) has not been in my possession from the day I put money down on it. It was a private sale, and the previous owner supposedly had his mechanic working on it since 1) the transmission went bad as soon as I drove it off his property 2) the check engine light came up and stayed on as soon as the car was started, and 3) the ABS light came on and stayed on. I had possession of that vehicle a total of 2 hours. I took the car back, and previous owner said he’d take care if it. THAT WAS ALMOST 3 MONTHS AGO. After the 2 month mark, and several calls, which I got nothing but excuses, I decided I want my money back. In the mean time, I have collected 2 tickets, one month apart, for the same offense. I contacted the previous about these tickets, and was told both times they were taken care of. When I received he first summons from the magistrate, I was told to call parking enforcement for the city. The city told me no payment was made, and they have turned everything over to the magistrate. I’m now into the state for over $200.00, and I haven’t even had the car during that time. I just found out the party that sold me the car is now in the Dominican Republic, supposedly to take care of his mother (which is puzzling, since I thought she was living with him here in York.).

In short, i’m Screwed. I’m to the point now i’d Rather stay locked in my room, and no longer want to be bothered. I am now no longer driving, and now refuse to accept individual help from anyone, financially or otherwise, since most people consider me to be a lazy, fat assed, no-good motherf!cker who deserves to die, one way or another. Leo Durocher was right: nice guys always finish last.

That’s EXACTLY what the weather has been liked all week back here. Hershey been especially hard hit, as has Harrisburg, Middletown, parts of Lancaster county, etc. as a matter of fact, we have thunderstorm warnings up right now. I have a running joke right now with one of my housemates about building an Ark.

Every day it's just too hot. I've mentioned it before, but I hate hot weather. And it's going to be like that all through August and probably most of September. I wish I had a swimming pool or lived close to a beach or a lake. I want to go swimming and have fun like when I was a kid. But I can't. If I had a car and could drive, it would be different. I wouldn't be trapped day after day in my apartment in this hellish apocalyptic heatwave while other people get to go swimming and do other fun things.

My parents have a swimming pool. Must be nice. :x Too bad I only get to swim in it once or twice a year if I'm lucky.

When I was still in my 20's I used to go out walking around the heat all the time and tolerated it pretty well. Maybe it's because the climate was cooler back then or because I was just younger. Of course, back them I would take the bus if it was too hot to walk anywhere. But the local transport so awful I haven't taken the bus in years now.

Well, I guess complaining isn't going to solve anything, but what else can I do? I try not to complain during the winter when everyone else is whining so I can complain in the summer without looking like an idiot(?).

I know I sound like a medical disaster, but I can't take Vitamin C because I have a very high ferritin level. Vitamin C would cause me to metabolize even more iron, which can be fatal.

(It just never ends....) lol

But yes, Echinacea would be good!
