I cut my finger really badly today. I was trying to open a can of veggies & the can-opener didn't cut the cover off completely which sometimes happens. I think it's the cans cuz I had that same problem with the old can-opener as well as our new one. I tried to pry the cover off with my spoon but instead of popping off which happens every other time I do that, the cover bent & sliced my thumb rite where I bend it. It was a big & maybe kinda deep cut. It was like a very extreme version of a paper cut. I had to call 911 cuz there was no way I could of handled it myself. The paramedics bandaged it up & brought me to the hospital cuz they thought it might need stitches. I needed 4. My thumb is completely bandaged as well as some of my hand. The stitches can be removed in 10 days & I think I might need to keep it bandaged most of the time till then. I'm right handed & of-coarse it was my right thumb which means I cant use my hand as much as I need to. Doing things with my left is alot more difficult & so is trying to use my right hand without using my thumb. My typing is a lot slower with even more errors than I would normally make. I'm not sure when I'll get around to replying to PMs now. Also my girlfriend isn't here rite now. She's spending 5 nights with her dad cuz her mom is going on a trip with Cass's brother & Cass's dad has health issues & cant really take care of himself or the cats that are there. Cass is kind of torn between taking care of her dad or me & since she's already at her dad's she'll wait to see if I really need her or not before coming back. BTW just incase anyone is wondering, I took the bus home from the hospital. I've been there before at least a few times cuz me or Cass had appointments.
