This is also my Uncle Bill's birthday. I baked a chocolate cake from scratch yesterday because we always have the same chocolate cake on New Year's Day to celebrate his birthday.

Now we are scattered across the United States and are never all together anymore. But it's hard to break old habits and I love this chocolate cake. I wish you all could taste it. I hope you have/had a wonderful day Monkey. What did you do to celebrate it? :?:
