I meant it in no way as a rebuke LoneloyalWolf, just adding to the conversation. I think what you have said is helpful. I often get misinterpreted as saying things in a negative way, haven't yet figured out how to not have appear so.

What made me unhappy today is that I scheduled a followup doc appointment with my regular GP & I couldn't get an appointment till the beginning of November. She had told me to schedule a followup after I saw the dietitian & I saw the dietitian a week ago. It took me a while to see her because she went on a trip. I don't like going this long without seeing my doc.

Update on my ordeal:

I'm still a mess but I finally reached my nephew and he's here supporting me with my dog. I'm safe but some things have been broken. They can all be replaced. I'm shellshocked and dumbfounded. He's talking her down while we wait for my brother.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to help me or offer kind words. It means a lot. I don't know what I would have done otherwise. It was and still is overwhelming.

Thanx. It's at the community health center so appointments can get kind of backed up. I could see other docs sooner if I had too. I also scheduled an appointment for Tuesday to have some stitches removed. Not everyone does it so I just took who I could get after the 10 day mark which I was told to wait that long at the hospital. It's not like I need to see my regular doc but I'd just really like to. We were talking about possibly trying a med after I saw the dietitian & I'm really interested in getting on it. I can wait thou.

Oh gosh that song! Thanks for posting it, one of my favourite versions of that song. So glad your wits are coming home to roost Isabella! Loads of love from another non hugger.

Kitty update- the patient is home and improving though not completely cured. I am keeping her company in isolation in the bathroom. She would prefer complete freedom she tells me but admits its better than the cage at the vets. Better go, chin rubs being demanded.
