Ooh, I love air guns! I'm so envious. My friends and I spent one summer shooting each other up with airsoft guns and it was fantastic. :D Nothing says "I appreciate your friendship" like a spray of plastic pellets.

(Becomes visible and appears) Good morning, WrongPlanet! This is your Friendly Resident Ghost saying: "I'm going to be here on WrongPlanet for the rest of the morning, so let the good times roll!"

The WP Kink has entered the building. I'm feeling cute and cuddly today, and I want someone to give me a belly rub.

Hello! (voice echoes: 'Hello, hello, hello. . .')

Gee. . . It's quiet. Awfully quiet. Too quiet.

Ooh I've always wanted to try playing with airsoft guns... However I'm pretty sure if I shot a friend with my air rifle they'd hate me for life and call the police if they weren't in too much pain to speak :(.

... I may have used the wrong term. It's a Panther .22 Air Rifle. It shoots .22 Cal lead pellets at 800 FPS :(. So I wouldn't shoot my friends with that... However it's deadly to fruit hanging off trees at long range :D

:D I just finally figured out how to put the scope on right. That little doohiky-thinger-mabob was an extra part for other models of rifles. Mine didn't use it :).

I think almost 3 years ago when I tried to put the scope on it was very wobbly loose from the brackets and I put the scope on the foreward mounting peg :?. So when I did that the scope would wobble and lose calibration and then since it was so far foreward I could see the front sight and piece of the barrel... which is way wrong.

This time though I realized I should put the scope on the back peg... but it was still wobbly. Then I found some hex key and realized that tightens the second part of the mounting brackets to keep it straight and not wobbly .

It's really cool now and looks like a black sniper rifle :D. I can't shoot it right now though because I have nowhere safe to fire it

Also I guess It fires .22 and .177... I have .177 Cal pellets and those go 1000 FPS :|. I'm really excited though even though I can't shoot it because before I couldn't really use it effectively because my vision is near sighted and I couldn't even see the front sight to align it with the back sight... with the scope I can see crystal clear for way far away. I think it would be awesome if glasses made things that clear :)

Now all I need my air rifle to do is fire bees :D. Bees would be too big for the chamber so... maybe I can paint the pellets to look like bees :P
