Yup. Or just go 'bang, bang, bang' with your superfast SLR.

I took some more "vintage"-like pics today, as well as yesterday.

Went for a walk and saw turtles.

Fountain/pond; many turtles, and we also saw some alligators, one of which was approximately six or seven feet long.

a picture i took today, the lighting was amazing, captured in raw and edited with capture one, amazing program.
it allows you to have the dynamic range of a jpeg HDR while only working with one exposure, now for trying using 3 seperated RAW pictures for HDR.

as for the timing of those shots, the easiest way is a completely dark room, then you use the bulb setting and fire a flash as the exposure, a flash has a much faster reaction time than the camera so the timing is less of an issue, i never tried it, mainly because i lack a decent flash and a dark room.

hehe yeah i can see how that could be the case, they are module build too anyway

they are very beautifull to me, very clean and functional and around sunset they light up in the flavour of the day :)

now i only have 180 exposures left from today

Yes - it's (ahem) 'relatively' simple because the flash can be fired via a sound or vibration sensor, which triggers as the glass breaks.
But I suspect a stock of wine glasses would be required before getting that really good shot.

Your HDR street scene looks almost like it was taken through a polarising filter!
It looks great, and I like the clean lines of the buildings too.

@MooCow - so how many wine glasses did it take?

one of the reasons i bought an arduino
now i just need to learn it properly.
but yes timing must be very hard, i too am curious of how many glasses were sacrificed to make these shots!

Oodain, i love those buildings too! our architecture is not much like that in canada but i would like to get furniture that looks modular like that.
