I invited my dad over for dinner last night and it all turned out great AND I didn’t fall apart. I started to get full of anxiety with all of the organization of cooking but calmed myself down pretty quickly.

Remembering how delighted I was to hear the Paul is dead conspiracy some years ago. A thread brought it back and it actually caused me to grin

The current aikido instructor said that the head aikido instructor agreed to take over the students, under the current tuition rate.

Furthermore he said she said that, because I am a Special Snowflake, I don't have to wear a suit. (Everyone else does,). But I can't wear a hood

Wow

This is too good to be true

And I get paranoid something bad will happen to balance it out

Awesome!
My nephew is visiting today. He found one of my old childhood animal books and asked if he could have it. Of course he can have it. He loves animals and I am happy the book has a great new home.

That's great, cecil! Always nice to share a love of animals with someone else.

Saw a friend at trader Joe's.

Have not seen him since April 2014. He lives not even one mile from that trader Joe's. Used to see him a lot more often

Found out that my cousin was diagnosed with Aspergers when he was younger. He thinks that his dad has Aspergers and he thinks the same about my mum, I agree. I think my sister is an Aspie and her kids are on the spectrum. My mum says her other brother rocked till he was twenty and used to bang his head too. All of this helps with my diagnosis I think. I have my second evaluation next week.

I got to assist and teach a lower functioning autistic at work today and taught him how to create a down stock report, down stock and finalize the report. Even though it was a simple task, he was so happy that he had something to do.
He was almost non-verbal, his speech patterns seemed uncoordinated and slow, and there was almost no eye contact, but i could see that he truly appreciated the fact that i treated him with respect and as an equal. He had a worker with him who was there to watch over him and write a report and even she calmed down once she saw that he was good and i trusted him to be able to do the job without my supervision. He was beyond proud of himself and had a big smile on his face.
Good day
