Not telling my mom that I signed on for a payment plan that will help me pay my medical bills.

Today is the birthday of Ray Davies of The Kinks.

I sold some shares in Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, bought last December, for a £154 profit.

I stood next to Ray Davies at a beer stall at a local function.

I went out for a little bit today.

I had a wonderful summer walk today. A tad on the hot side for my taste, but overall very nice.

I'm able to take a very brisk one hour walk Monday-Friday by myself during my work week. I walk very quickly. It's not necessarily at the same time each workday, but I take the exact same route every day. I say the same exact thing to each neighborhood dog that barks a greeting to me: "What?! Don't look at me! I didn't do it!". I touch the same two landmarks on my walk (a large rock next to the sidewalk and a gnarled tree further along) and I mold water moistened pieces of facial tissue in my ears as makeshift earplugs for the walk to block out loud noises.

I make that walk regardless of the weather or temperature, even when it's below zero. I absolutely treasure it and I need it.

Today I got a new bass as an early birthday present! I was so excited I couldn't stop thinking about it all day, and played it from the minute I got home from school until I had to go to bed. I really love it
