Having my own business I think would be an exciting endeavor, but I am doubtful my people skills are good enough to allow me to succeed at a high level. I wish I could find the independence of working for yourself without all the risk.

What would you like to sell or what service would you like to offer if you had your own business?

I would want to sell trebuchets, ballistae, onagers, and various other forms of siege engines from throughout history.

What would you do if you owned your own island?

if i were that rich, i'd probably be like that segway guy [who lives on his own self-sufficiently provisioned island] and just have a grand ol' time. that would be close to heaven on earth. i would run all my do-gooder charities from this island and leave it only under duress.

Q- would you rather live in a castle in the air, or a [luxuriously provisioned] dungeon underground?

I am too klutzy to live up in the air. I would chose the dungeon as long as it wasn't a functional dungeon and I was free to come and go as I wish.

If your thoughts suddenly became reality, what is the first thing you're thinking about, and are the rest of us in trouble?

i'd have my soulmate and/or a harem, in a mansion high atop a cliff on a self-sufficient island in the north pacific ocean. nobody would be in any trouble, but people i didn't like would be prevented from affecting my life in any way.
Q=same question.

I would be at the cockpit of a Learjet 45, lined up with the runway, pushing the throttle levers and listening to the engines roar behind me as the plane slowly gains speed. And no, nobody would be in trouble.

what's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

in nature, things generally take the path of least resistance. this is not always the most direct path. it is far easier to curse the darkness than it is to rub two sticks together to make fiery light. you get the picture.
Q- choose the lesser one of two evils- death by heat, or death by cold.

By cold.

Live in an artificial habitat on Venus which would require an extremely efficient air cooling system constantly running to allow for the residents not to be cooked, or live in an artificial habitat on Mars which would only need heating during night and seasonally?

mars because the atmospheric pressure on venus would eventually crush just about anything manmade. forget about venus walks.

Q- choose one- terminal embarrassment, or terminal loneliness? I'll go with terminal embarrassment as, that I could manage with for the other would be most unpleasant.

I don't think I want to know what my future holds so I will choose knowledge of the universe.

Physical - rarely, and only if necessary for the defense of myself or a loved one.

Verbal - more frequently, but (usually) only when it's deserved...

Same.

I will stand up for myself, but I don't really go looking for it.
It can be good exercise, but I haven't done that in a while either.

Do you consider yourself picky in that you need things a certain way (to be happy or comfortable) or do you just adjust to whatever life delivers?
