I'm too lazy to get my camera, so I used my webcam.

Seasoned chicken with melted cheese, cubed avocado, and already eaten broccoli.

Too much chicken and not enough broccoli, if you ask me.

Your advertising strategy is definitely catching on. ;)

You need some potatoes and other bits on it. Not enough variety l-- (sorry I was going to use an affectionate term of address but remember all the trouble that got me into - images of the threatened testicle removal flashed through my mind).

I appreciate the catch, Tequila.

Regarding the food, I don't eat much and doubt I'll finish all of that. If I had made a full meal, it would have just meant more food getting put in the fridge only to be forgotten.

I am going to have country fried potatoes tomorrow, though.

You'd go far on Flickr with that. Though the food is a bit blurry. Get the lot in focus and you're golden.

My instant reaction to this was "why not?" but that's a pretty rude thing to ask.

Do you buy a lot of takeaway pizza? I only ask because it is beautiful the next morning, all cold and, erm, whatever it is. The flavours in the pizza get chance to marry with one another. Chicken and sweetcorn in the morning... mmm.

One of the intricacies of American culture I'll never understand. "Country fried"? I mean, we don't have that here. I've heard of country fried steak from Man v. Food and that sounds awesome but for the rest of it...

...needless to say, I want to come to America. I'd probably gain five stone whilst I'm there, mind. ;)

Tequila, I have major issues with eating. Love to cook and always end up making more than I can manage to eat.

I don't eat out or get pizza delivery. It's expensive, the food isn't as healthy, and I'm gluten free.

You don't know what country fried potatoes are? One of the few things cooked with oil that I'll eat. It's fried in a pan. SOOO good. Seasonings vary according to taste. Easy to make, too, if you're willing to cube a potato or few.

Can I come round and eat at your house? I'm not into extreme BDSM so if you can leave my balls alone, that would be a great help.

That's true enough, though with eating out that can be mitigated depending on where you eat and what you eat. I don't know about the US but in the UK the posher places are more circumspect about the gluten thing. In fact, they seem to cater for nearly everyone and if they don't they'll give you a list anyway.

The idea of eating out is meant as an occasional treat. So you can eat healthy the rest of the week - or just eat a large dollop of lard every breakfast time rather than the whole block like what we do - and then have a wee day off. As for your shape, there's nowt wrong with you. I'm a bit biased though. ;)

I'm a fat yokel from Lancashire, the place where men call women 'love' (and vice versa) and everything comes with black pudding, potatoes or is encased in a pie. If it doesn't it's considered to be foreign. Apart from spaghetti bolognese, which is considered to be 'English' despite the name. I am not joking - people on TV shows have often asked for "English food like lasagne" on their holidays.

I take it olives aren't your thing? They are mine.

Seriously, though, if you're interested in Scotland I'd give it a big miss. I haven't shown you the size of the fluters in the Orange marches. They get like that through traditional Scottish cuisine like hamburgers and kebabs. ;)

Now you see, I'd say that about champ or colcannon. With a nice bit of gammon too.

You can tell Norn Iron has made an impression upon me. ;)

What's that "country" bit though? Brain doesn't understand...

I don't do the whole BDSM anymore, either, Tequila.

Places that have gluten free foods tend to be expensive, and if they aren't it's terrible for you. I've eaten terribly for a good portion of my life, and all it does is aggravate my ADD and Bipolar Disorder. I tend to prefer the healthier stuff anyway.

I love olives and olive oil, actually. I don't use that for country fried potatoes, though. I've got cooking oil for that. (canolla - the stuff most here in the US use to fry chicken and other things)

'Country' <insert food item here> refers to the region in the US where the food is consumed the most. The southern states are what's referred to, generally, but more specifically the rural parts of the southern states.

So does that mean if I come round for tea you won't threaten to cut my balls right off?

That's fair enough. I understand that.

I know what you mean. Even after a few days of eating badly, your body cries out for decent food and starts to reject what you're giving it. I'm lucky in that respect that my mother cooks well.

Black or green? With feta or without? I have so go to go to Greece. After Israel, Hong Kong, Macau, Northern France and Benelux...

American cooking intrigues me. Not so much as for me to actually bother to do any research, but it still intrigues me. I must ask my mum - who is famously resistant to any challenges to "tried and tested" foods - to have a look at some of the recipes, where no doubt she'll put her 'unique spin' on them. ;)

I do fancy a pop at soul food... but then I would, I'm a fat bastard. ;)

Not every person that lives in the south ( I don't like to refer to myself as a southerner) has a taste for 'country' or fried food, TBH I avoid most of it.

Yes, I know. Truth is, I'm not a huge fan of any but the country fried potatoes, and I do my own thing with them.

I don't hurt people unless I have to... 8)

Olives... Which ones depends greatly on what they're for. A potato salad, for instance, takes black olives (though I hardly ever eat potato salad) For just about everything else it's green all the way. I'm flexible when it comes to what's stuffed in them.

Eggs cooked the way I figured out on my own as a child that I think is nearly perfect.

(Photo note: took some nice photos and then told my girlfriend she could eat it... then realised that there was no memory card in the camera! Boo. The camera lets you preview a single photo you take, it tricked me!)

@ASMJT: Your photo reminded me of one of my childhood favourites, so I was inspired to try it again after perhaps fifteen years... but I'm vegan, so my girlfriend was the guinea pig to try it out.

I want this!

Yup. Imported all the way from Canada to end up in my belly.

Lidl have started doing this every year. Remember last year they put out ostrich and springbok much to the outrage (natch) of animal charities? They sold out very quickly as a result. I bought both. :)

Anyway, Moosey tasted just like normal steak so he didn't die in vain.
