i called the possible new dentist, the lady in the answerring box was quite inaudible but somewhat asked for my whole cv? - holding an exposé about myself on the empty ??
hold on, dentist ladies? so far i haven't had a 'pleasant' lady dentist, maybe reconsider this

If I'm becoming "less empathetic" or "more insensitive"-- I'd take it as a good sign.

It means to me, empathy can become a conscious choice and not a damn impulse on a basis of irrelevant feelings to regulate.
