I only ever had one suicidal thought in my current lifetime.
And that makes it so memorable.
What's even more memorable were the moments that made it stop.
What made it stop?
It's not love, it's not pride, it's not spite, it's not missing out, it's not even self preservation.
It felt more like a duty.
A duty to see everything through, whatever that may be, no matter how miserable.
Then the endless echoes in equally endless directions that I couldn't fathom, directly towards me at that very moment.
And I couldn't articulate it other than "it was everything".
It's more than love, more than pride, more than just missing out, more than self preservation, more than spite. Just "everything". Even things I never had thought, and still couldn't ever name.
It is still a mystery for me.
So sometimes I just wonder.
If it's just my head or something else beyond me.
