The net claims my last name stems not only from the Polish name of that fish - a loach - but also from the Polish verb that means "to squek"

I called my crocodile Aloysius in the end

I wasn't really looking for a name for it but one day I woke up and I just said "morning Aloysius", without even thinking what I was doing and it just stuck

You've just reminded me of a time when I was walking into a shop and a decorative loop thing on my shorts got caught on a stupidly low door handle, making me stop dead and wonder why I couldn't walk any further. A crowd of people were trying to get in behind me and were pushing as I was trying to figure out why I was stuck then trying to free myself. The funniest part was that my possible ADHD friend was rambling away and didn't notice I had stopped and was still rambling away to herself (well she thought I was there). It was funny but embarrassing at the same time.

One of my brothers used to commute 370 miles each way to work by helicopter, but it was in the same country. And he got paid for the commute time.
