A thing that people would waste a lot of money just for a very small chance to win some money. I find it stupid because there is little to no chance of winning.

What fruits do you hate eating?

I think peeling oranges, tangerines etc. is really annoying, but as far as fruits I don't like to eat because of taste / texture, my least favorite is a cherry tomato (since tomatoes are technically fruits). I hate how thick and bitter the skin is, and how you have to pop it with your teeth and then mash up all that woody pulp.

Sadly I have to work four days a week, or I would starve to death. But apart from that it's next to impossible to prise me out of my house / garden.

Learning Finnish. I have never been to Finland, am not related to anyone Finnish, and have never even met anyone from there. Not entirely sure where that one came from.

What has your most unusual special interest that you can tell us about been?

Ok, I have to admit this really is a little weird, and it probably bears some careful explaining. And it comes with a huge disclaimer that I am truly not in any way sadistic, cruel, psychopathic or anything like that. You have to believe me, and I do trust you guys; so here's the most unusual thing I can share.

I once visited an aquarium shop and witnessed the owner feed a live goldfish to a carnivorous fish for another customer. I was horrified and felt awful for the goldfish... you could see its face in the mouth of the other fish. But I was immediately transfixed by the idea of one animal consuming another alive. I don't know what it is, just the fact that it's the ultimate drama there is in nature I suppose. It's like, living thing A is ending living thing B's entire course of life just to feed itself once. I just can't get over that. I have never and would never feed anything to anything else, and I've never owned pets that eat live prey. But what I have done is go back to YouTube again and again periodically to find videos of a snake catching and swallowing something, for instance. And I think it qualifies as a special interest. It gives me the chills and I can't watch things like that back to back. I think I feel like I have to comprehend this and come to terms with it, but I just can't.

It may not be considered an unusual interest, but I do have a small interest in the human anatomy. Of course I'm going into a medical profession, so it should benefit me.
