Not as long as I am hyperfocusing (I just verbed a noun!).

Do any of your (standard) senses strike NT's as being unusually acute? (If so, which one?)

Not so much these days, but I used to have acute hearing and vision that could pick out patterns and discrepancies.



What is your best bet to learn something new- self teach, lectured, practical experience,etc.?

Self teaching with plenty of experience in problems that I, as opposed to the writers of a textbook, think are interesting. If I did not find out about constructed languages, there would be no figurative train of thought leading to linguistics and phonics.

Do you actively try to balance your studies/activities?

Well, when I am running and need a pitstop to pee and there is nowhere to go, you end up with a very uncomfortable sensation of trying to hold everything in while you're straining and bouncing about at the same time.

What is one thing you've learned about life that you'd like to share with other members here?

that there is truly nothing new under the sun, just the same old things slightly remodeled for new generations to rediscover. IOW, history doesn't exactly repeat itself, but it surely rhymes. :idea:

I do. I don't take myself all that seriously, even likely to my detriment. Every so often I will do something idiotic or foolish that didn't occur to me or I didn't see coming. All I can do is shake my head and laugh it off.
