I was living in bliss (until 5 minutes ago) thinking that the late Victoria Wood (comedian) was married to the late Ali Bongo (magician)

Turns out I was wrong

I think the leader at art club is my favourite person in the whole world

Because I'm always excited to see her and I always want to make things for her

And she's go a great big massive smile and she's like the sunshine

I used to be up and outdoors at 3 in the morning to gather recycling.

I think that nonverbal learning disability is a pervasive developmental atypicality.

Because of the way I see the world, sometimes I see words in an old German font at first glance, especially when I look at tags that are attached to merchandise. On second glance, the wishful thinking vanishes.

I find this really interesting, CockneyRebel. Stuff like that happens to me. Not exactly the same, but I'll see something and think is is something else at first. It's as if the signal for the eyeball image reaches brain and preprocesses it really fast, and in my case sloppy, and I see something else before my brain says, "Hold on there bucko. I don't think that is right." I don't know if your brain works like that or not, turning first impressions into something with a Germanic.

Earlier I was playing Civilization 7 with my sons. Older son was playing a pirate with a pirate civilisation. I was exploring and saw the town PUKOTALA. I read it PUKALOTA, unintentionally swapping the L and the T. At the time I thought is was very funny. Puke a Lotta, I told my son I thought his pirates were drinking too much rum.

But I love the bagpipes. I very rarely hear anyone say "I love the sound of bagpipes." I do. I have since I was a teeny tiny lad.

The drums are great too.
I understand why people don't like bagpipes.
I have a little Scottish in my DNA, a lot of Irish.

^ I’ve always loved the sound of bagpipes, too. I’d like to have an opportunity to hear them live someday.

I really, really don't like people asking me for things they can do it themselves.

Especially very trivial things like getting their own toothpaste or something.
Unless it's an emergency or a dire need or because situation calls it like we're several miles away from the nearest convenience store; please don't.

Never ask me to give you anything just because something is literally within my arm's reach.
Unless you physically couldn't or that it's a competitive/time sensitive collaboration where I had to coordinate with you, just don't.

I also love bagpipes. They have such a nice sound to them. Every time I hear bagpipes, i have an image in my mind's eye of a bearded man wearing a kilt, playing his bagpipes.
