^Thank you: joint effort, and I tend to let Mrs K make most major decisions and then do heavy lifting/tending the plants I have a particular interest in
(Gardening is my job and her relaxation, so it’s worked out like that. :) )

And here’s some close-ups showing our evergreen clematis, assorted tulips plus bleeding-heart dicentra and the cherry tree:

Now edited so the first picture shows up!

Great pics all.
Looks like the soil is nice and rich there.I love the smell of freshly turned dirt in the morning.lol
I’m very envious of those bleeding hearts.I planted one last year and it did not return.I know they will grow here,I saw a yard full of them.

They need to be shaded if you’ve got a hot climate: could that have been the problem?

I can only see three of the photos. One from the first post of photos and two from the second post of photos. Clearly others have seen them. What am I doing wrong. I don't usually have trouble seeing photos.

^!I just skipped back and forth between the two pages a couple of times, and they didn’t all load each time: maybe try the refresh button?

I’ve just redone some of them that weren’t loading for me either on multiple refreshes: is that any better?

I second that. Ours grow terrifically in the shade (that's why the pics are so dark)
They're my grandmas favorite so we've always had some

^ Oh dear! I can’t currently see any of your pictures, I say currently because three of mine that I could see yesterday aren’t loading now: just the little box with “image” written in it: wonder if it’s a server traffic issue?
(I don’t know)

I can't see the photos either, except for a few of K's. I refreshed many times. I did see the lovely walled garden with the bit of lawn surrounded by flowers. Tidy and elegant.

Mine are quite the contrast. My large "yard" is quite messy with plants, most are not in rows. I am working more toward "guilds" and food forests, rather than traditional gardens. They don't photograph all that well.

I love dicentras. We had wild ones growing in spring when I lived up north.

^ I can see them now! :D
Lovely photos, really well done: can see all the details nice and crisp :D

Think the issue with mine might be whether or not I remembered to turn on “allow sharing” for the relevant file

I’ll have to see if I can snap one of the Bumbles this year: we have a few BIG ones (but shy of an inch long) that nest in the soffits every year
