Dominantly nonvisual. No aphantasia though.

I think that when in a Wechsler test profile Block Design is at least scaled score 12 but Picture Completion, Object Assembly and Picture Arrangement drop to one-digits, then it is alarming (ASD/BAP feature, especially when FSIQ is well-developed).

I read some posts of user with nick kmac2018 on Reddit and she looks in many areas strikingly similar to one of women from Poland who wrote thousands of posts on wrongplanet.net 8O

To the best of my knowledge, I don't think I've ever posted or even browsed in "kids crater" until just now when I went in there to see

Oh I've just realised why it's called "kids crater"
It's like the moon

I think that especially important symptom of ASD may be having global pattern of "restricted" interests, also in social area, this does not mean only one or two special interests. I meet phrases like "an autist is only himself", "it is a disturbance of instinct" or "it is a narrowing of one's relation to the world outside one".

I don't remember the last time I wore Schultz (my German helmet).

I'm a lousy comedian. I tried being funny at karaoke, cracking the jokes with the staff person who runs it on Monday and it's been suggested that I take a break.

I have no problem with that. I need a break from that program anyways.

Whenever I visit a public library, I hate it whenever I have to sit next
to a homeless person at a computer.

I think that similarity of non-autistic NVLD to ASD is a myth. I suppose that NVLD image was polluted by autism spectrum disorder, broader autism phenotype and dominance of non-visual thinking. I think that NVLD is more similar to developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia, developmental motor disorder) than to ADHD and ASD. I think that proper NVLD is developmental visual-spatial disorder.

My limited experience agrees with you; the one thing they have in common is that both can be exceptionally intelligent, on just about any subject, but that’s about it.

Those with NVLD though, seem to think that their interpretation of a phrase is the only permissible one, which makes them seem troll like, though it’s unintentional. Autistics would have no time for such pedantry (so that rules out Mr Spock).

Then, NVLD is definitely a disorder, being Autistic (by the original definition) is not.

I have to admit that I do prefer Sabrina Carpenter over Lily Allen

I just can't help it

I think that autism is about global, atypical pattern of functioning, thinking and emotional or physical feeling (social, behavioral, sensory), NVLD is developmental visual-spatial disorder (impairment of reading maps and charts, using visual-spatial Information) and I would say that autism can have no full-blown pragmatic language impairment (especially general impairment of understanding hidden meaning), the higher the IQ, the smaller the risk of overall "social (pragmatic) communication disorder", especially rule-based or knowledge-based striking deficits (such as about metaphors, rules about how to speak to the different people). Simple rule or some knowledge may help quite a lot.

I think I'll reserve judgement on my new ergonomic, memory foam, travel pillow with removable cover until I've used it for a week or so
