if i tried anything like that, the other party would invariably react badly to it. so i just don't know what to do that wouldn't piss 'em off instead of comfort 'em.

I think it depends on what is causing the crying. I've known some people who would cry to get their way, and I used to cave into it. If someone was emotionally distraught and I knew them well, I would try to give them comfort. If I didn't know them well, I'd ask if there was anything I could do.

What would you sell your soul in exchange for?

The well-being of the people I care about. Nothing else I can think of that would be worth it.

I was going to say perfect eternal love...but if I don't have a soul, that wouldn't really work.

Yeah, I think so. So many things I'd do differently if I was smarter and not confused so much of the time.

I would. I would go back to the year that I was 10 and ask my parents what was wrong with me. I also wouldn't have looked at maps of and talked about the USA as much as I did in order to spare my feelings about that special interest that I had that year.

Do you wish that you were told about your autism at an earlier age than you were?

My parents actually knew since i was 7, they just didnt think it would be helpful for me to know. I only found out recently, and since everything about myself has made more sense. Knowing at a younger age would have really helped.
