i was thinking whilst in an idle mental state a few days ago about how the queen is not as rich as she used to be (after hearing about it from the radio).

i thought that if the queen wanted to make a few dollars on the side, then maybe she could sell her excreta. i am sure that there would be quite a few people in the world that would jump at the chance to possess a royal turd laid by the queen herself.

i was thinking that they could mount her daily extrusion on maybe a chopstick in a tasteful display case with a purple silk lined floor, and with crystal glass windows with elaborate etchings at the edges and a small elegant l.e.d. placed that spotlights the bowel movement.

the stool itself would have a silk ribbon tied around it with the "E.R" seal of authenticity woven into the ribbon to prevent fakes from entering the market.

also, there could be an accompanying set of papers that details the royal menu on the night that was the instigation of the presentation in the display case.

something like "this fine regal specimen is the result of a gala feast that included ...etc"

then i imagined i invested in a regal bowel evacuation at an auction for $20,000, and when i got home, i fell over while walking to my front door and dropped it on the driveway and the case broke, and a neighborhood dog being walked past my place ran toward it and gobbled it up.

what would i do then?? i would have to pay the owner of the dog an amount of money to mind the dog for 2-3 days, and whilst the dog was in my custody, i would have to collect it's droppings and painstakingly dissect it's droppings to separate the queens droppings out from the dogs droppings.

then it occurred to me....how could i tell the difference?

Hmm. That would be about 6 or 7 years less than me, I think. 8)

It's barely even existed that long. :?
As for me, I'd say at least 10 years. I've always been a computer geek. 8) My first memory of computers is playing Delta Force on my dad's computer forever ago.

Nice! I've been on the internet for only about fifteen years now, but some of my first memories are of DOS games. :) I've always been a fan of computers and games--I knew how to enter basic DOS commands by the time I was five or so. After all, those floppy disc games wouldn't start themselves! Ahh, I should play some of those again some time. ^_^

(Appears) Hey, Joe, those quotes are from Wayne's World 2 if I'm not mistaken.

It's Wayne's World! Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!

Same here. The only difference is that my accent is natural. :)

Happy (mostly assembly language) days... 8)
Depends on what platform you were on. I was writing C under BSD Unix in 1987. Of course, at that time, it was arpanet or darpanet (the names flipped every year or two).
Yep. Almost entirely 8080/Z80 assembler for those good ole' CP/M days, and 8086 later on. Some tinkering with 80206 assembly, but I rarely needed to scrape bare CPU metal from around that time onwards.
Throughout all of this was Pascal, my language of choice. I never did get on too well with C - too much unreadable source code and type trickery going on for my liking, but I can translate between C & Pascal.
