It is a great movie and soundtrack. But I always end up crying... Silly me

I've never seen the movie, but I saw it on Broadway once and it was fantastic. Read the book, too. I should see the movie some time. :)

Tonight is my last night in Japan. Fortunately, I'm too busy and tired to be sad. I'm sure I'll have plenty of time for that later, anyway. The work is still not done--moving out of one's apartment suddenly is a trying task. Still need to do some cleaning before I can vacate this place with a clear conscience (the fridge, in particular, which is still filthy with stuff that spilled in the earthquake >_<). But! I received my well-earned bonus from work, so I have a little more saved up for the homeless & jobless weeks/months ahead. So, that is a relief, and my spirits are relatively high. :)

I read the book as well and I saw the stage show sequel. It was pretty good.

It's good to hear that your spirits are high. Bonus can really help that. At least it used to work for me. Hope all goes well for you :)

The US (west coast), at least temporarily. Don't know yet whether that will be for a few weeks, months, years....

Wooah! I've just found some video on youtube of a chimp being born, cute as hell. But then the mother's relative/friend or whatever was watching it all happen and helping out, then she just took the baby and walked off with it leaving the mother following close behind. I hope she have them back.

I recieved my first ever 'elevation' at work today. It involves bending over and taking lots of deep deep breaths, then holding it on your last. Then you are pinned up to a wall whilst two guys push hard on your solar plexis until you pass out. I passed out and when I regained consciousness after about half a minute I had no memory of what happened, I only remembered waking up on the floor with my legs splayed out, shaking and sweating profusely and twitching all over and wondering where the hell I was. Apparently I groaned like a zombie, and my eyes were still wide open when I fell to the floor. Then they rolled back into my head and I started to convulse slightly.... Actually quite worrying really, but it's a very normal thing that happens to people that experience this.

Basically an 'elevation' is a way of cutting off oxygen to the brain momentarily, it was fun but I wouldn't try it again as I'm sure it can't be healthy. Very surreal feeling though. But not to be recommended unless you are with people that really know what they are doing.

Anyway, this is how I spend my time at work....
