I spent most of today doing so.

Basically an 'elevation' is a way of cutting off oxygen to the brain momentarily, it was fun but I wouldn't try it again as I'm sure it can't be healthy. Very surreal feeling though. But not to be recommended unless you are with people that really know what they are doing.
Waah! 8O
I'd say that because the effect (and convulsions are so much fun, aren't they?) is caused by cutting off oxygen to the brain, that the people who claim to know what they're doing know nothing of the sort.
There was a phase of this (called something similar) going round school ooh, centuries ago now, and people got expelled because of it.
Some kids were made violently sick after it, and I know of one who went into a full-blown fit as a result. An ambulance was called; the works.

Now, go and stand in the corner and ponder on the dumb games workmates play on newbies - and for God's sake, don't do it again!

Believe me, NO WAY I'D DO THAT AGAIN. It was quite an experience, but not one to ever be repeated. I know it was a very silly thing to do, and I didn't want to sound as if I was bragging about it. I just wanted to share what I felt was a really weird thing to have happen to me.

Actually, NOT TO BE RECOMMENDED. PERIOD.

I never understood why people chose to do such things. But then, I have serious issues with not being in control of my own self.

Yeah, I don't doubt dying will feel pretty weird too but it's not something I'm anxious to experiment with.

Yup.... Well, my apologies have been made. It will probably be a while before I do my next stupid stunt.

So I look at the world and the way so many people live and I just have to be grateful that I live down hear in the south west pacific.

Sure my country has some issues to sort through but nothing that we aren't in a good position to handle. We generally don't shoot each other very often, we generally try and help both each other and our international neighbours.Iit is a beautiful country with a reasonable amount of room for all and a reasonable standard of living with a basic support for those who have trouble making their way. The climate is benevolent and ranges from sub-tropical in northland to temperate rainforest in the deep south, generally the sea is pretty clean and the air too, all in all not too bad, I feel blessed.

I finished my paperwork. These days, it seems that I spend more time doing paperwork than I do programming. Hello, long weekend.

I haven't had much Indian food. I heard about a good Indian restaurant. I think I'll try it tonight.
