It's snowing so much here right now and my school was cancelled tomorrow for the second time in the past week because of this.

Significant snow. Up to 45 cm is forecast, but this storm appears to have brought its own snow removal service. Winds are 55 kt E, gusts nearing 65kt, storm surge warning in effect. Seas are expected to rise to heights ranging from 7-10 m.

On Monday I had to go and buy groceries early because a huge blizzard was coming. It's a good thing I did, because by early evening the whole world had turned pure white and the wind was screeching like a banshee. It was still going yesterday and pretty much everything had come to a screeching halt. Yesterday was my parent's anniversary so I called them up at home since they weren't going to be at work to wish them happy anniversary. At least they got the day off because of the storm. The weather's much calmer today but they say another storm is coming. I haven't been out this week since Monday. I'm really glad I didn't lose power.
