Sitting on the porch at such an hour can really be interesting. (Nearly 1 AM here.)
One hears and sees things that don't even occur during the daytime, such as rabbits chasing each other in open air... or perhaps we're too busy to even sit down and pay mind to such things during light hours.

I'm thinking how I was the last to arrive for Easter lunch .. and when all my family gathered in the living room, I glanced over and the grandfather clock stopped. My family has this association of it with my grandfather, it's the place he passed away in too. So I opened it and had it start ticking again.
