That's good, TPP! Glad you are feeling cooler.

It's just started raining again up here. :bounce:

I love this climate. I honestly do. I much prefer being cool to being far too hot.

"Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in places during Monday afternoon and evening, persisting through into Tuesday. These have the potential to bring localised rainfall totals of 25-50 mm in a few hours, with a risk of flash flooding and large hail."

I, um, see no rain. IT'S STILL TOO HOT. WHERE IS MY RAIN!?

According to the thermometer, it's 34, almost 35 degrees outside. The met office thinks it should be 27 degrees by 16:00 and BBC says the highest tempurature should have been 28 degrees.

Perhaps, my thermometer is wrong (or, maybe in a sunnier spot).

Your thermometer may be questionable, 35 is only 3 degrees off the national record, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was true...
-Edit - looking at the current temperatures, it seems 34 is plausable.

Meanwhile it is cooling down here nicely, and Cleanness (i.e. sweat free) is mostly restored!

I hate being sweaty.

It's OK now I'm at home all the time. I can just change my clothes whenever I want - say if I get back from a walk all sweaty - but I don't like it when you are in a situation when you're out and about and get sweaty clothes and can't change them. Uuuugh.

In winter, people moan it's too cold and they wish it were sunny.

In summer, they wish it would snow.

That's me in a nutshell, a_w!

Though I like summer more because I'm usually depressive in winter.
