I dreamed I was playing some kind of mobile game where I had to customize Snake Mountain and its background for Filmation's Skeletor. It showed a picture of him giving me comments as I selected different things. For example when I picked a sky with big storm clouds and lightening, he was happy, but if I took it away, he'd get cranky and start complaining.

yes but the current counselor insists on being even more idealistic than me.

without an instructor or role model, as usual, i am utterly rudderless.

86F here. thank god for a/c. :) never had any deja vu dreams before, I believe that is a subset of lucid dreaming.

I used to get them a bunch when I was little, not so much anymore.

if you do get them again, pay special attention to them, look for minor details.

Minor details?

subtle signals from your unconscious mind, that will strengthen your lucid dream skills and powers. for example, bend down and examine a blade of grass and see if you can see anything unusual about it, like if it has a subtle pattern instead of solid greenish. or sniff the air and see what scents you can pick up. or look up at the sky and examine its visual properties. taste food and check for incongruities between what it tastes like versus what it ought to taste like based on waking experience.

I was at a party and they were discussing a dating service where you could choose somebody from anywhere in the world.

I dreamed I was on a road trip with a group of thugs/gangsters. It wasn't really a relaxing dream.

I dreamt of things that are and at the same time are not.

I was sleeping in my own bed, very comfy with air conditioner. / At the same time, I was sleeping in a posh hotel, wearing an expensive heavy mohair full-length robe and sweating in misery.

I wanted to wake so I made a lot of noise for my sister to hear and she should come and wake me. / At the same time, I knew I can't wake myself by things I do in the dream.

I was back in my own bed with my mother; I was a little girl again and we were giving each other pedicures; I was very happy. / I looked up and saw the huge dark robe hanging on the wall and I knew I didn't have to be afraid of it but I chose to be afraid of it and tried to get Sis to wake me.

This went on, changing scenes. It was very pleasant, being with Mom again.

Oh! :o I will have to do that next time I dream. My last dream was of this girl who was over-protective of me.

that reminds me of when I saw some clueless little girl get confused and go up to the wrong mother, and that wrong mother's same-age little girl saw this and ran up and shoved the little girl away, shouting at her, "MY mommy, MY mommy!!"

Two of them. In one there was a gigantic hole in my wall above my bed & it seemed quite hollow & spacious but messy for some reason.

In the other I was asking my friend how & why he was back from the Netherlands for one weekend. He's not here at all.

I was rudely awoken by an electric shock sensation, like alternating current was shaking me like a rag dog, vibrating like a "marital aid" on a table. 8O
