When I was little we used to go to my grandparents on Christmas eve. We used to have this big family gathering with traditional dishes, games, songs and other fun. Then, on the 25th, we used to wake up early in the morning and run barefooted to the Christmas tree to find all the gifts. Everything seemed so magical.

that we all have our troubles, and that even the exceptionally high-functioning braggarts who like to infuriate everybody else by trumpeting aloud how they live the life of riley, they too have issues they may not even be aware of.

That no matter what, someone else has had or has the same problem/issue that you do.

If you could mend one broken bridge you have had with a person, who would it be and why?

A friend I had ten years ago. In a way he was my best friend. But then I went and screwed everything up.
I still miss him though.

my best friend from highschool. it wasn't so much that we had a falling apart so much as we grew apart. i miss her geekishness, her honesty & her no nonsense attitude & the fact that i could hang with her and mostly be myself. we could relate in ways i couldn't with other people & i sorta had a thing for her.

what historical event inspired you the most?

It is hard to not say 9/11 since it is an event I lived through, instead of some famous JFK or Einstein quote which I can find inspiration in. I think 9/11 had the opposite effect on me than it had on most people. I think I became less patriotic and flag waving and began to question more why people do the things they do in the name of a country or a religion.

I like this question plus my own part II, of course. What historical event would you have liked to have been there to witness or take part in?

Probably to be a spectator at any Gladiator match in Ancient Rome. I think it would be a interesting sight to see at the least.

What is one beneficial change you wish you could make to yourself?

less creativity, more discipline, I have too many things going on all at once it seems. Much gets lost in the wash.
