Today was both a good day and a bad day for me.

The bad bit was waking up and realizing that I am coming down with an illness. I am weak and shaky and my throat is red and sore. My mom says that explains why I have been "acting funny" lately, particularly while out shopping. She says that it's due to my childlike nature, because children often act strangely when they don't feel well. (Don't worry, she wasn't putting me down when she said that - she thinks I'm cute and she's worried about me.)

The good bit was getting loads of Helena Bonham Carter items in the mail today. I got a collection of miscellaneous magazine clippings, the UK edition of Maxim magazine where she did a photo shoot and an interview about Planet of the Apes, several DVDs (The Wings of the Dove, Conversations with Other Women, Planet of the Apes and The King's Speech), and my Tonner doll. You can see pictures of the doll in the "post something that made you happy today" thread.

Goodnight people.

[Flings arms around in a semi-strop]

Meh.

:P :? :(

* Cautiously offers rabbitears a soothing mint tea, from a safe distance and behind a blast shield. *

I've got to toss my three used water bottles into one of the bags on my porch and lock up for the night. I'll be here for another hour and a half. :)

My mom has to work a lot of late shifts this week. I'm going to miss her terribly, but at least I can keep myself busy by making clothes for my Helena doll. Every woman needs a full wardrobe, even if she's made out of plastic!
