high winds blew the clouds away revealing azure and sunshine :sunny: still biting cold, though. 38F. :bigsmurf:

Cold but bright; pretty sure a warm front passed over the house the other day - a sure sign of Spring and more high pressures coming.

Supposed to get warm. After the last couple of days, I think layering is the only sensible option. It's amazing how much warmer it feels standing in the sunshine. I do love that feeling of cold air and warm sun, though.

Blue sky and sixty degrees.
Last night one heck of a storm.Lots of lightning,as in electrical storm.It was still,no wind or rain so I sat on the back porch and watched it light up.It was creepy still,all the frogs had stopped peeping.Then a roar,really loud with all sorts of sounds in it.The wind was actually howling,it even caused the dog to run out on the yard and start howling back.Figured we were all gonna die.Power goes out right.Then it roared on by and rained a bit.The second wave was just wind and hail,thunder that rattles the windows.The power was out till around 2:00 this afternoon and it even took out the phone service.It just came back on,so now I have internet agin.It was an interesting night.

The small town near was hit,half the town blown away.Houses and barns are damaged and some are just gone.The Post Office is totally gone,mail all over the town.The tornado touched down about a mile and a half from me and went up the river to town.Some of my closest neighbor's houses are thrashed.There is hardly a limb down in my yard.No wonder the power and phone was off.
