Now some rain is here.

It can rain, thunder and lightning all it wants. All I ask is that there are no big winds which cause power failures among other things, and there isn't any big wind.

You're either in the NW... or around Texas/Kansas... or a bit farther up in the midwest... or perhaps Indiana/Michigan/Minnesota area...

In Jordin Sparks' song "Battlefield", my aspie son has decided to sing the bridge as "get your mama". Now that's all I hear.

I rock when I'm both tired by myself... and very slightly when around others and tired; almost unnoticeable.
Or I put my hands on the top of my head and press really hard... though the former is what applies at this moment. :tired:

My daughter does both of those things, plus others.

Penguin is my favorite Batman villain. Or at least his portrayal in Batman Returns is.

(Appears) You gotta admit, I played this stinking city like a harp from hell! (Cackles)

Good morning, WrongPlanet! Today is Thursday. The end of the week, but darn it all, just shy of the weekend!

Good morning to everybody on WP. I won't be on here for most of the day. My best friend and I will be in Victoria, at the March For Life. I also got my hair cut, so I feel a lot better. I don't feel like that hairy guy that The Cowsills sing of being, anymore. :D

Here's the song that I'm referring to:

Woohoo, I'm getting about $50. :D Well, I ordered a Basque book, "Harry Potter eta Sorgin Harria" (Philosopher's Stone), back in December, but it was out of stock, and I just got an email (in Spanish  ) saying that they'll give me my money back since they could never get it. A refund is better than wasting $50!

You really like the basque, huh?

We stayed in a flat above a bank in spain, the basque happened to blow up the bank 10 years prior (downstairs).

The actually running joke even amongst the basque is ..

"How do you tell a joke in Basque?"

--- The punchline being.. "Boom".

But I went to their bars, they have a antisemitism bar, a bar against the french, a bar with a silhouette of a random person (that the spanish locked up for blowing things up). Sort of a race you don't want to have quarrels with... But they had actually told me (I don't know about the accuracy of this). But the old Spanish president (or their equivalent) didn't like the Basque at all. He liked them so little that he tried to get rid of them through multiple means. He tried the usual routes but it never worked and the population kept getting bigger. So he decided "AHA! I'll just move all the industrial zones to the North". I think this was because more or less he wanted to weed out the Basque by mixing their blood with other races/eventually killing off their culture. But the Basque apparently kept getting bigger...

But by the time he had left office (or died).. unsure which. They said the Basque where even larger/lots of the work was to the north because all the factory's where moved there. Which I guess works out in the Basques favor....
