Yes, I very much love the Basques.

I'm sure it was the ETA (a terrorist orgaization) that blew up the bank, rather than regular citizens. I think the Basques should be completely autonomous and self-governed, but violence isn't always the answer.

You are correct. Franco was a horrible person. He made it illegal to speak Basque, but they survived his dictatorship, and now the Basque language is flourishing.

Yes, I went to spain and didn't actually speak any spanish while there.

When you met people on the street you'd commonly say "Ah-gool". Actually thats all everyone used... I believe its the Basque hello.

They remind me of the Irish tho. Who needs 44 bars in a town of 3000 people?

Well, "agur" is used more commonly for good bye, but it can be both, like "aloha" in Hawaiian. The common word for hello is "kaixo", which you may have heard. And good day is "egun on".

Yeah, I greatly dislike drugs, so I'll stay away from bars when I go to both of those places. :lol:

Oh yes, and we walked into a bar with a girl with a lip ring, with shady characters all around - and smelled of heavy pot. I had my first gin and tonic there. It was overall a disgusting drink which I had to gag to get down.

I'm going to start going to a center for adults with developmental disabilities in the near future. They're going to teach me some more social skills, as well as skills for living independently such as how to count money and how to cook, among other things. I'm really excited about it! I can't wait to get started!

Like today I had a dream about the orthodontics and I got told I have an appointment today. Gosh dangit I had to deal with it in my sleep and now in waking life. But at least the other part was fun. Cause I was a superhero and could fly!
