It seems that they are either a) doing up the interior (as the front room of the building was entirely empty when he had a peek through) or b) the post office and shop is being shut down altogether. The cash machine at the side is also out of action too.

If it is being done up to be reopened then good on them as it does look like it needs a makeover, to put it mildly.

Anyway, I first photographed this place in August 2007 and it looks very similar apart from the fact that an ATM has been installed.

Solvejg: The photo is tiny and very heavy-pixellated when blown up. You might want to sort that out. :)

The photo is squeezed. Make it smaller (800px at widest) and it should be fine.

My Flickr photos come out squashed when I post them here at 1024px yet when I go for the next smallest option (640px) all is well.
