My mom thinks Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a great movie. I would have never guessed that about her. I can't wait to see it for myself.

I made a poll about the Police Academy films on another site and found that many people thought them rubbish.

I enjoyed them and they sold one heck of a lot of films.

Today is Saturday! The weekend is here. The children will be out of school. Since 1975, the show Saturday Night Live has run on Saturday nights, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

I must apologize. Previously I said that France's Eurovision entry this year was my favorite, that was a lie. Iceland's is. 8)

(The Icelandic version is even better ;) )

The lead singer of this song died just a few days before he was to perform it on Icelandic TV, but then his friends formed a band and are singing it for him, and they made it to the final. It's such a happy song, which makes me sad, in a good way, since they're performing it as a tribute to him.

Now I want to begin learning Icelandic. :lol:


In other news, birds are chirping outside already.

Ooh, thanks very much for the get well soon wishes, y'all.
It's like receiving a card from my best mates! :lol:

I have some sort of an infection going on in the waterworks department and it feels like I'm developing flu all over again - fever, dizzy, aches etc.
I've just started on some antibiotics which will hopefully clear things up, otherwise it may involve [drumroll] surgery. 8O

Well, turns out there was a train pass that slipped out un-noticed onto the floor. I guess the green sheet of paper was just a bonus.
