Last year I looked like Alice Kingsleigh's twin with my long hair. Now I look nothing like her with my short hair and glasses. But that's OK, even if I'm not like her in body, at least I am in spirit.

A bit surprised that Azerbaijan won ESC this year. But better them than Sweden, who came in 3rd place. I greatly dislike Sweden. :lol: Italy, hwo came in 2nd place, had a very good song. I also liked Spain's song a lot, and quite a few others were good. None were extremely horrible though, like Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine last year. :lol: Now I have to listen to all the songs that didn't make it to the final.

I'm going back to bed now. I had to get something off my chest, so I woke up to do that. It's better and easier to do that than it is to roll over and get back to sleep, only to have an unpleasant dream. I'll listen to a nice Kinks song before I do that.

Hot damn, I'm still alive! :bounce:

Really bad fever; I was almost shivering myself apart with some quite impressive body quaking.
So I caved in and went to bed, and slept from 19:00 yesterday right through to 11:00 today.
Now I just feel a bit weak, but so much better than yesterday.
The aches and infection problems are still present but reduced, so hopefully this means the antibiotics are starting to work.

I think I'll have some toast and honey!

It was delicious; I had two types of honey (Orange Blossom and Canadian Clover) and two types of jam (Blueberry and Raspberry).
Made me feel even better, but then again I'd not eaten anything for almost 24 hours.
