^No, that's not remotely what he's saying at all. Try reading his post over again. Does he say that in any way, shape, or form? What part of the post made you think that, I'm curious?

I've only just realized that my big fantasy novel, companion book of short stories and poems, and my 'new' novel are literally just the same story told over and over again with barely anything changed.

Raleigh might like this story. I read it in one of the books I have by Osho, a brilliant, undefinable being.

A wise man lay dying, possibly a Zen master. He requested one of his students to go to the village market a little ways away and get him a cake. The student did so, running as fast as he could both ways. Then, once the wise man was comfortably propped up with the cake on his lap, the students all leaned in eagerly, expecting him to utter some sort of amazing last words of wisdom. The wise man ate the cake as if it was the best food he had ever tasted. He fell back down on the pillows, smiled, said 'the cake is delicious', and died. The lesson here is that he was completely in the present moment throughout all of that.

Felt like taking some pictures but was a little rainy outside so thought i would give this ago instead...
Just hung a glow stick from the ceiling with a fishing weight with a wide angle lens camera underneath and swung the string. Then used remote timer to open shutter for a delay of about 60 seconds.
Glow sticks were a bit old, so didn't throw out much light.

They would say so. They say you can't even see the curve of the horizon from a plane (You can, I've seen it).

I think they want a really obvious curve, the sort you'd get if the Earth was only a few hundred metres in diamater. They don't seem to understand how big the Earth is.

The funny thing is, if their disk had a curved edge, you would still be able to see the curvature of the edge.

Unless their flat Earth is an infinately large plane. Also their claim that the horizon doesn't get lower as you go higher. If the horizon was the edge of the disk, wouldn't your view of the edge get lower if you were high above the disk?

Whoops, I started a debate on another website by suggesting that soldiers who are fighting in a far off land are not protecting our freedom.

Apprently criticising the policies of non-military politititions is disrespectful to the soldiers.

This coming from a bunch of internet armchair generals who have never seen combat themselves.




Forget the flatearthers, the military jingoists, forget any specific group and just bunch them all together and the conclusion I draw is, the internet user base is getting stupider.

The internet provides so much information that the crazies can use Google to find a thousand articles that agree with their ideas without ever having to read a dissenting word. Whatever strange beliefs people had before end up getting reenforced by the internet.

It looks like the Eternal September will last forever.

The theory is that if enough people believe in something strongly enough it becomes real.
Humans create reality.
