Morning all.

Froya is back!

Cathylynn, your father looks too young to be a soldier.

I'm going back cycling this morning with my cycling group which got me quite nervous hence I've been sitting here in bed rocking for the last half hour. My beloved brought me a cup of tea and tried to offer some support and I'm like, "leave me alone."
Now I'm alone and lonely.
I'm a horrible person.
Don't know why anyone likes me.

if i remember right, dad may have lied about his age to get in. he had the highest IQ in his platoon and became a motor pool sargent.

they weren't diagnosing asperger's much when he was young, but i think he was an aspie.

And then I'm depressed about the loss of a friendship and I don't even know what went wrong and that's playing on my mind and I don't know why I should care but I do.
They were kind of horrible to me.
I opened up about something very painful to me and they laughed about it.
Don't know how to recover from that.

Why can't I forget the things that cause me pain and remember how to make tea and get dressed?

My dad was very obviously an aspie.
He couldn't hold a job, so we were desperately poor throughout my childhood.
Welfare was pretty dismal back then.
My mother had to go out to work so we could eat.
I skipped school and went fishing so we could eat.
I also worked at the age of twelve, stripping cane.
Most of the work was seasonal, so you'd make around $600 for the season then there'd be no work for the next 3 months.
I dropped out of school at 15.

That's a rough start in life Raleigh...

Whats stripping cane?

That friendship doesn't sound like much of a loss.

Did something happen during the cycling, that has made you nervous?

(((hugs  )))

^ stripping cane is removing the (razor sharp) leaves so the cane can be cut into billets and replanted.
It was a very dirty job and you ended up covered in cuts.

If the friendship wasn't a loss, then why do I feel the loss so keenly?

I haven't cycled in a group since before I went to hospital, so I'm nervous about having to make small talk and answer questions and if i'll have a seizure and need to be taken to hospital again and if I'll be able to keep up etc.

Thank you for the hugs.

My last group cycle was on a Sunday in August last year and I couldn't co-ordinate my body and I fell behind so others had to wait for me and I was talking gibberish and spacing out and I felt sick and weird.
Then on the Tuesday I was taken to hospital because I couldn't speak and I was vomiting clear fluid and they thought I had meningitis but I didn't.
See?
Why can't I forget this stuff?

Yes, no you are right of course. I'm sorry. I don't know anything really about this friendship so I don't know if it is worth trying to save or not.

Also, of course it feels like a loss, because it is a loss!

I think you are brave for returning to the group Raleigh. It's very unlikely that it will be a repetition of what happened the last time. Wasn't that when you had the cancer?

Anyways good luck!

"It will be fine.
It will always be fine.
Right up to the moment when it's not.
And then you fix what's wrong and it will be fine again.

Wisdom from my partner.

f**k them Raleigh.

You spewing your ring was probably the most exciting thing that ever happened to them that day, they will welcome you back as a god, perhaps even sacrifice small creatures to gain your good graces.

WB Froya.

Always remember that I am the number one biggest idiot on this thread, and perhaps even the forum.
You can never post something as stupid as I muster on a regular basis.

Raleigh has a haunted PC.

How cool is that?

Declared love for me too, I love you too my skinny baldy pal from down under.

Froya, we all sink down to this level on a long enough timeline.
